Get Real Sessions are about being real and honest about relationships and sex. Your life is your life. Only you get to make your choices. These sessions aren’t to tell you what you should or shouldn’t do but to give you information, time and space to think about what you want.  

Relationship and sex education can be awkward and potentially embarrassing for both your teachers and you. Get Real Sessions are designed to help your teacher provide the best, non-awkward relationship and sex education for everyone in the room. Each session starts with a session agreement asking everyone to keep examples anonymous rather than personal, be respectful, listen to each other and ask questions if they want to. If people are not able to work within this then they shouldn’t be part of the session.  

Relationships and sex are part of life and it’s important to learn about them, just like you learn about other areas of life. What you learn helps you to form your ideas and make your choices.
