Key RSE Topics

Supporting young people to develop a greater understanding of relationships equips them for life.

The Get Real Sessions have been created using government guidance around Relationships, Health and Sex Education (RSHE) for children and young people, covering topics around Relationships, Sex, Online Life and Self, Identity & Wellbeing.

Video Teaching

Video teaching in every session provides specialist input in a cost effective way.

The videos provide consistency and age appropriate content for the young people you work with. They also support and training staff, building their confidence to teach young people about these important topics.

Planned Activities & Content

Each session has detailed notes for the staff who are delivering the content.

These notes include at least 3 fully planned activities, additional information and advice for staff around the topic and suggestions for answering questions and prompting discussion.

There are also links to freely available third party online content to support the learning.

Example of the Sessions

This mini session titled 'Choosing Who to Trust' is mapped to the statutory RSE guidance point 'how to determine whether other children, adults or sources of information are trustworthy' and gives you a flavour of the structure and quality of the resources.
